Stevie and the Bluescasters

Stevie and the Bluescasters is an acoustic blues band playing unique arrangements of all kinds of blues: Chicago, Old Country Blues including Piedmont, Delta, Texas, some old Country and old gospel and pinch of R&B thrown into the mix. We also include a smattering of International “Blues”: Mourna, Ladino, Irish Sean Nos and Portuguese Fado.

Our set consists of a variety of vocals, guitars, National Steel and  wood body Resonator, mandolin, harmonica and even yodeling. Over the many  years playing together, we have crafted a unique sound that is based on skill, depth and above all, sheer love for this music.

Olivier Franc has shared the stage with the greatest jazz musicians of our time, including Wynton Marsalis, at Lincoln Center and Paris’ Hot Club.

On March 30, he played at Live at Lew’s, accompanied by rising star pianist Jean-Baptiste Franc.
